Select the database from the 'On Device' list (in the 'Files' area of the app) and you are now ready to use the RootsMagic app.

The file should now show up under the 'On Device' tab in the RootsMagic app.

Hit the 'Sync' button to sync your device.

Click the 'Add.' button and navigate to the file on your computer.

Select the RootsMagic app in the list of apps under 'File Sharing' (you may need to scroll down to see it).

Make sure you are running the current version of iTunes.

How do I copy my data to my device using iTunes (iOS only)?.

After a file has been downloaded you can then access the file from the 'On Device' tab.

If you edit the database on your computer (and re-save it to Dropbox as above), the app will let you know that the files have been modified and need to be re-downloaded to your device.

This means it has been copied to your device and doesn't need to be reloaded from Dropbox unless you change the file on your computer.

The file should now show up under the 'On Device' tab in the RootsMagic app.

A message will pop up when the file is finished downloading to let you know you are ready to use the database Depending on the size of the file it may take a minute or two to download the database to your device. Inside of the 'Apps' folder will be created a 'RootsMagic' directory.
